Este projecto consiste na recuperação de um edifício dentro das muralhas de Almeida. Um espaço pequeno com 2 pisos mas apenas 60 m2 de área útil inserido no núcleo histórico de Almeida.

O objectivo, transformar esta ruína numa habitação contemporânea com o design de referencia e com toda a tecnologia necessária para uma habitação actual e confortável em todas as estações.
O estado original da moradia é o de ruína, com todo o telhado e interior de madeira em avançado estado de degradação. Sendo apenas possível o aproveitamento das paredes exteriores.
Para este projecto de remodelação de habitação, optamos pela criação de uma superfície/ estrutura de madeira que vai servir para organizar todo o projecto.
Uma superfície que originalmente era curva mas que se foi desconstruindo tornando-se em faces que ocultam a estrutura e cria uma série de arrumos, gavetas e armários conferindo ao interior uma imagem minimalista e facetada.
A cozinha e zona de refeições apresenta-se totalmente integradas na superfície de madeira, ocultando todo o equipamento móvel, e dando ao piso 0 uma característica de open space.
